The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) April 18 issued a final rule implementing the standards governing health plan issuers and the Health Insurance Marketplaces for 2020.
A federal district judge yesterday vacated a Department of Labor final rule that modified the definition of 鈥渆mployer鈥 under federal law such that more individuals, including sole proprietors, are eligible to participate in association health plans based on geography or industry.
