Letter to CMS with comments on the agency鈥檚 interim final rule for a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for hospitals and other Medicare/Medicaid participants.
The SUNSET rule set expiration dates for the vast majority of HHS regulations unless certain conditions are met. Specifically, the department must conduct a review of most of its regulations at certain intervals and then determine whether they should retain, modify, or eliminate the regulation.
Responding to a recent request for input from the field, the AHA yesterday urged the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation to balance the risk and reward in its alternative payment models 鈥渋n a way that reflects the significant investments required to launch and maintain APM participation.鈥
