University of Pennsylvania Health System selects new CEO

Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania Health System has Kevin Mahoney CEO effective July 1. He currently serves as executive vice president and chief administrative officer for the health system, as well as executive vice dean for integrative services for the Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Mahoney will succeed Ralph Muller, who has served as the health system’s CEO since 2003.

Hutchinson Health appoints president

Hutchinson (Minn.) Health has  James Lyons president effective April 12. He most recently served as chief of clinic operations at Hutchinson Health, where he has worked since 1996. Lyons succeeds Steven Mulder, M.D., who is retiring in April. 

Nevada Regional Medical Center appoints CEO

Nevada (Mo.) Regional Medical Center has Steven Branstetter CEO. He most recently served as long-term care chief administrative officer of Moore-Few Care Center and Barone Alzheimer's Care Center, owned by the city of Nevada. 

PeaceHealth names CFO

Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth has Paul Warda chief financial officer for its Oregon network. He most recently served as senior vice president of finance and CFO for Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston. He spent more than 10 years as vice president and CFO at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. 

Kettering Health Network names COO, hospital presidents

Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health Network has Terry Burns to chief operating officer, named Walter Sackett president of Kettering Medical Center, and promoted Anita Adams-Jenkins to president of Sycamore Medical Center.

MultiCare Health System appoints CFO

Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare Health Systrem has James McManus senior vice president and CFO effective in April. He previously served as CFO at Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, Calif.
