Richard Davis named CEO of Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit; Dan Miller appointed CEO of Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children’s Hospital

Richard Davis selected CEO of Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit
Henry Ford Health System has Davis as CEO of Detroit-based Henry Ford Hospital beginning Nov. 15. He replaces John Popovich, Jr., M.D., who retired earlier this year. Davis, who is coming from Johns Hopkins Medicine, also will serve as senior vice president and CEO of the health system’s south market, which encompasses Wayne and Monroe counties, as well as eastern Washtenaw County.
Dan Miller appointed CEO of Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children’s Hospital in Texas
HCA Healthcare the appointment of Miller as CEO of both San Antonio-based Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children’s effective Oct. 1. Miller currently serves as president and CEO at HCA/HealthOne’s The Medical Center of Aurora and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital in Colorado.
Janelle Reilly named market CEO of CHI Memorial in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The Board of Directors of CHI Memorial and Catholic Health Initiatives Reilly, who became president and chief operating officer in July 2016, as the new market CEO. She will assume her new role after CHI appoints a COO replacement. Reilly will succeed Larry Schumacher, who will now focus on serving as senior vice president of CHI divisional operations' southeast division.
Steve Schieber named interim CEO of Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, Mo.
Kansas City, Mo.-based Saint Luke’s Health System has Schieber as interim CEO of the hospital, effective Aug. 30. Schieber succeeds Gary Jordan, who had served as CEO since November 2011. Schieber also has served as CEO of Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Mo., since September 2015.
