Patricia Rosello announced as new CEO for Baptist Health South Florida. Prior to this role, Rosello served as CEO for Baptist Outpatient Services. She joined Baptist Health in 1997 as vice president of ambulatory services for Baptist Outpatient Services before being promoted to CEO in 2003. 

T. Douglass Lawson appointed CEO of CHI’s Southeastern Texas Division. Starting mid-March, Lawson will serve as CEO of its southeastern Texas division and senior vice president of Catholic Health Initiatives. Previously, Lawson served as president of Baylor University Medical Center and the North Texas Central Region of Baylor Scott & White Health. 

Marc Gunter, M.D., installed as Mercy Clinic President, St. Louis, MO. Gunter has been named the first system-wide president of Mercy Clinic, the fourth-largest integrated physician organization in the country. Previously Gunter served as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Mercy Clinic.

Roland Cruickshank selected as new president for Methodist University Hospital in Memphis TX. Cruickshank has more than 20 years of experience in health care administration and is currently president of Vintage Hospital Northwest Houston. He is tentatively set to begin his leadership role at MUH at the end of March.

Connie Hwang, M.D., named chief medical officer and director of clinical innovation for The Alliance of Community Health Plans in Washington, D.C. Hwang will direct efforts on higher quality standards and advise ACHP’s patient-centered advocacy agenda.  Hwang comes from Evolent Health, where she served as vice president of quality and clinical performance. 

Brent Burkey, M.D., named new president of Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, OH. Burkey will begin as president of the Medical Center in March and is currently chief medical officer at Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital. During his 14-year tenure at the Clinic, Burkey held numerous leadership positions across a variety of disciplines.
