ICU Medical recalls certain lots of potassium chloride injection bags due to mislabeling

The Food and Drug Administration Feb. 18 that ICU Medical is voluntarily recalling certain lots of its potassium chloride injection bags with overwrap labels displaying 10 mEq that are packaged in 20 mEq cases. The FDA said the company learned of the issue from a customer complaint. The notice said the 20 mEq label printed on the bag is not visible or easily visible without manipulation when the 10 mEq overwrap is in place.
