Over 16.3 million people selected a 2023 health plan through the Health Insurance Marketplaces Nov. 1 through Jan. 15, 1.8 million more than this time last year, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services  today. Eight in 10 enrollees were renewing coverage and the rest were new consumers. While open enrollment ended Jan. 15 for the  marketplace and most marketplaces, residents of five states may enroll through Jan. 31.
