Report recommends changes to simplify FEMA Public Assistance ProgramÂ
The Federal Emergency Management Agency last week released a recommending changes to streamline its Public Assistance Program based on feedback from stakeholders interviewed by an independent advisory committee. The agency recently announced simplified application procedures and documentation requirements for the program, which provides disaster response grants to states, territories and certain private non-profit entities, including health care organizations.
