Report: Hospitals’ margins continue negative trend in November
U.S. hospitals and health systems continued to experience negative operating margins through November 2022, Kaufman Hall today. Median operating margins were down 44% so far this year compared with 2021, as high labor and other costs continued to outpace revenues, according to data from over 900 hospitals.
