University Hospitals, headquartered in Cleveland, yesterday received the 2022 AHA Quest for Quality Prize for its data-driven quality and safety improvements, innovative strategies to deliver equitable care, and effective strategies to share quality and safety improvement across its organization and with other health care organizations. Ochsner Medical Center, based in New Orleans, and WellSpan Health in York, Pa., were honored as finalists while NorthShore University Health System in Evanston, Ill., received the Citation of Merit. The AHA yesterday honored five programs with the 2022 AHA Dick Davidson NOVA Award recognizing hospitals collaborative efforts for improving community health. The winning programs are the Continuous Care Program, Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center at Broward Health, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; The Doorway, Cheshire Medical Center, Keene, N.H.; Community Connect, Children's Minnesota, Minneapolis/St. Paul; Monterey County Diabetes Collaborative, Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare, Salinas, Calif., and Montage Health, Monterey, Calif.; and the School Blue Envelope Suicide Prevention Program, Spectrum Health West Michigan, Grand Rapids, Mich.
