Organizations can apply for ARPA grants to train community health workers
Nonprofit organizations, academic health centers, health professions schools, and state and local governments can apply through June 14 for American Rescue Plan Act funding to train community health workers, the Health Resources and Services Administration . The agency plans to award 75 grants of up to $3 million each. HRSA plans to train 13,000 new and current CHWs and other health support workers through the new grant program to respond to public health needs and emergencies in underserved communities through a network of partnerships.
