SAMHSA announces grants to expand substance use treatment, prevention
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration today $25.6 million in grants to expand access to medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and prevent the misuse of prescription drugs. Eligible nonprofit entities can apply through April 29 for up to $750,000 each to expand access to medication-assisted treatment, and through April 25 for up to $500,000 each for resources to raise awareness about the dangers of sharing medications, fake or counterfeit pills sold online and over-prescribing.
