MAP workgroups to discuss CMS performance measures under consideration

The Measure Applications Partnership workgroups will meet virtually this week to discuss performance measures under consideration by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, including measures related to hospitals’ commitment to addressing health equity as well as severe obstetric complications. The hospital workgroup, chaired by the AHA, meets and the post-acute care workgroup meets ; both meetings are open to the public. The MAP is a public-private partnership convened by The National Quality Forum and CMS to provide input to the HHS Secretary on the selection of performance measures for public reporting and performance-based payment programs.
