AHA, others launch campaign to protect access to telehealth services

The AHA today joined Ascension, Johns Hopkins Medicine and 13 other organizations in launching , a public education campaign to protect access to critical telehealth services.
鈥淎ccess to telehealth is vital to Americans鈥 well-being and quality of life. Flexibility provided by policymakers during the pandemic led to greater use of telehealth services made possible by providers鈥 investments in these tools,鈥 said AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack. 鈥淲ithout action from Congress, millions of Americans who have come to rely on telehealth services will lose access to the care they value.鈥
