HRSA: Over 5 million COVID-19 vaccination claims for uninsured reimbursed
The Health Resources and Services Administration has reimbursed more than 5 million claims to administer COVID-19 vaccine to uninsured individuals, the agency last week. The agency’s helps pay providers and facilities that test, treat and administer vaccinations to uninsured individuals for COVID-19. The agency also recently launched a fund to help reimburse providers who administer vaccines to patients whose health plans do not cover vaccine administration or cover it with patient cost-sharing.
