Webinar: Advocating for the Asian American Community during COVID-19

As part of Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month, join AHA’s Joining Hands for Greater Impact series, May 26 at 12 p.m. ET, to explore how to address the unique challenges faced by Asian American and Pacific Islander communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hospital and health care leaders, including former AHA Trustee Harsh Trivedi, M.D., president and CEO of Baltimore’s Sheppard Pratt Health System, will share how they effectively address the AAPI community’s concerns about COVID-19 amid high risk of exposure, unemployment and economic challenges, and vaccine access and acceptance, all amid an increase in anti-Asian xenophobia and racism. .
