Hospitals, others can apply for substance use disorder screening grants
Health care and behavioral health care systems can apply through April 19 for grants to screen children and/or adults in primary care and community health settings to screen for substance use disorders, implement brief interventions and refer for treatment services, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration last week.
The agency expects to award up to 10 grants of up to $995,000 per year for up to five years.
