The AHA today released a new fact sheet highlighting how hospitals and health systems continue to experience financial challenges more than a year into the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Among other areas, the fact sheet outlines how revenue losses and sluggish recovery of patient volumes have been met with increased expenses creating the 鈥減erfect financial storm鈥 for hospitals and health systems.
