CMS releases FAQ on CHART rural payment model

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services today released a on the Community Health Access and Rural Transformation Model.
Announced in August, the seeks to provide up-front funding and predictable payments, reduce regulatory burden and increase flexibilities for rural participants.
Applications to participate in the Community Transformation Track are due Feb. 16. CMS plans to select up to 15 rural communities to begin the track next summer, and to request applications for the ACO Transformation Track early next year.
