CMS report highlights strategies to reduce telehealth barriers for treatment of pediatric substance use disorders
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services today released a identifying best practices and potential solutions for reducing barriers in the use of telehealth for the treatment of substance use disorders among Medicaid’s pediatric populations.
The report is the latest effort by the agency to increase access and effectiveness of Medicaid telehealth services, while providing states with the flexibilities needed to combat the opioid crisis.
