Partnership releases cybersecurity crisis response guide
The Health and Public Health Sector Coordinating Council, a public-private partnership, yesterday released a to help health care providers respond to a critical incident.
The guide covers four focus areas during critical incidents: education and outreach, prevention techniques, detection and response, and team communications and wellbeing.
鈥淭his concise guide will assist providers of all sizes to quickly implement some basic but critical steps during a cyber incident, or augment and validate existing incident response plans,鈥 said John Riggi, AHA senior advisor for cybersecurity and risk. 鈥淭he guide also contains access to valuable cyber threat intelligence and available government cyber resources, especially relevant with the proliferation of COVID-related cyber threats.鈥
