Brian Donley, M.D., CEO of Cleveland Clinic London, will chair AHA's Health Care Systems Council in 2020, and Penny Wheeler, M.D., president and CEO of Allina Health, Minneapolis, will serve as chair-elect. Joining the council in 2020 are: Tina Freese Decker, president and CEO of Spectrum Health, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Christopher Howard, president and CEO of Sharp HealthCare, San Diego; Laura Kaiser, president and CEO of SSM Health, St. Louis; Stephen Markovich, M.D., president and CEO of OhioHealth, Columbus; Timothy Pehrson, president and CEO of INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma City; Dennis Pullin, president and CEO of Virtua Health, Marlton, N.J.; Michael Slubowski, president and CEO of Trinity Health, Livonia, Mich.; and Kevin Tabb, M.D., president and CEO of Beth Israel Lahey Health, Cambridge, Mass. The 26-member council represents AHA's health system members, comprising more than 67% of AHA hospitals, and participates in the AHA's advocacy, policy and resource development, with a particular focus on strategic opportunities.
