Idaho to pursue Medicaid work requirements
Idaho Gov. Brad Little this week signed adding work requirements to the state’s plan to expand Medicaid coverage to low-income adults. Idaho voters approved Medicaid expansion last November. Under the legislation, the state will ask the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to approve a Section 1115 waiver to allow the work requirement. The Trump administration this week appealed a recent federal court ruling that blocked Medicaid work requirements in Kentucky and Arkansas.
