In partnership with the AHA and other national health care leaders, the National Quality Forum today launched a task force to identify opportunities to drive and optimize high-value, person-centered care for every patient by 2030. The panel expects to issue recommendations by year-end based on input from top experts and pioneering health care leaders. 鈥淗ealth care quality efforts to this point have successfully embedded the expectation of safe, high quality care,鈥 NQF President and CEO Shantanu Agrawal, task force co-chair. 鈥淣ow is the time to ensure the next generation of quality achieves significant improvements in value, driven by consumer and community goals.鈥 In addition to AHA, partners in the initiative include Kaiser Permanente, Geisinger, Intermountain Healthcare and HCA Healthcare.
