The guide also explains whether eligible clinicians participating in an MSSP accountable care organization are eligible for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System APM scoring standard; how they are scored under MIPS if their MSSP participation agreement is terminated during the performance year; and how CMS identifies MIPS APM participants in an advanced APM.
