RWJF honors four communities for culture of health
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation last week awarded its 2018 Culture of Health Prize to four communities for their commitment to improving health for all residents: Cicero, Ill., Eatonville, Fla., Klamath County, Ore., and San Antonio. 鈥淭he 2018 RWJF Culture of Health Prize winners understand good health requires far more than access to good health care,鈥 said RWJF President and CEO Richard Besser, M.D. 鈥淚t requires a thriving community with access to quality education, good jobs and safe, affordable housing. These inspiring places are engaging community members in decision making to give all residents the opportunity to live well, no matter where they live, how much money they make or the color of their skin.鈥 For more on the winning communities or to apply for the 2019 award, click .
