Sept. 5 webinar on human trafficking and individuals with disabilities

The National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center Sept. 5 at 1 p.m. ET will host a highlighting emerging trends, case studies and best practices for providing supportive services to individuals with disabilities who are at risk or currently experiencing human trafficking. On the webinar, presenters will discuss how to investigate bias, stigmas and risk factors that may lead to victimizing individuals with disabilities; understand contributing factors to susceptibility to trafficking and examine prevention from different lenses; and identify promising practices and service responses that address underlying issues that can put individuals with disabilities at risk.
