MIPS Data Submission Deadline Extended to April 3
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has extended to April 3 at 8 p.m. ET the deadline for clinicians participating in the Merit-based Incentive Payment System, including those participating in the Advancing Care Information performance category, to their 2017 performance data. The deadline had been March 31. For more on the ACI requirements, which relate to electronic exchange of information using certified electronic health records, see CMS’s 2017 for the Quality Payment Program.
