AHE program to help health care leaders evaluate products, equipment
A new from the AHA鈥檚 Association for the Healthcare Environment will teach health care leaders who purchase or recommend products and equipment advanced skills for analyzing their value and ownership cost through a two-day instructor-led workshop starting in April. 鈥淭he [Value-based Product Evaluation & Implementation] certificate program is unique in that it鈥檚 designed around a real-life example of a director at a facility creating an actionable plan for change based on the principles of value analysis,鈥 . 鈥淧articipants learn to identify credible research and data to make a sound purchasing decision and craft an evidence-based proposal to influence targeted key stakeholders and value analysis team members.鈥
