AHA and AMGA members may apply through Oct. 27 to participate in an intensive on managing population health and succeeding in the new Medicare physician payment models. The Clinical Integration: Pathway to Value collaborative is designed to help hospitals and medical groups work together to address the health care needs of their communities in innovative ways within the current payment and incentive system and plan for the future. 鈥淎s we strive to deliver smarter, better, safer care, it鈥檚 imperative health care organizations are experienced in developing plans for more integrated systems of care,鈥 said Jay Bhatt, D.O., AHA鈥檚 senior vice president and chief medical officer. 鈥淧articipants will learn the skills and information needed to develop a more affordable and equitable system that advances health in America.鈥
