Nov. 29 ACGME webinar to review themes in patient safety
The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical education Nov. 29 will hold the second in a series of webinars on key themes from its recent Clinical Learning Environment Review Report of Findings for 2016. The webinar, which begins at 4 p.m. ET, will highlight four major areas of the report: resident and fellow education; patient safety event reporting; patient safety event review; and the role of the clinical learning environment in monitoring/governance around patient safety. Presenters also will review how the findings may be used to improve care environments and explore how residents/fellows and faculty members might engage in the implementation and improvement of their care environments to create increased patient satisfaction while developing the physician workforce.
