CareerSTAT, an initiative of the National Fund for Workforce Solutions and Jobs for the Future, recently recognized 10 employers as 2015 “.” The award acknowledges health care organizations that have made a “lasting investment in their frontline workers by promoting internal career progression and providing access to on-site training and skills development opportunities.” The awardees are: Cleveland Clinic; East Boston Hospital; Homebridge Inc., San Francisco; Partners Health Care, Boston; Penn Medicine, Philadelphia; The League of Voluntary Hospitals, New York; Jersey City (NJ) Medical Center Barnabas Health; UnityPoint Health, Des Moines, IA; Genesis HealthCare, Towson, MD; and Urban Health Plan, Bronx, NY.
