Sharing best practices and spurring on peer-to-peer learning were core elements of the three-year AHA/Health Research and Educational Trust (HRET) Hospital Engagement Network (HEN), which ended last December.

The HRET network worked with 31 state hospital associations to reduce inpatient harm and preventable readmissions and create an infrastructure of performance improvement. 

HRET earlier this month posted a video series that showcases the successes and lessons learned from high-performing hospitals in the AHA/HRET HEN. The series is posted at . Each video features multiple voices within each organization, weaving together the story of how the hospital reduced harm across the board.
