The Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) training and certification program drives value by reducing variation in practice and establishing a consistent high standard of care and performance. Over the years, the Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE) has received anecdotal testimonial about the effectiveness of CHEST, and a recent data survey has helped quantify the program’s value.

This webinar panel will demonstrate how CHEST has helped improve value and outcomes for professionals responsible for the patient and resident care environment. Highlights of this session will include a discussion pinpointing how the training is improving value in facilities across the county, and the review of preliminary data findings indicating that positive outcomes are associated with the training.
