Please join the AHA Section for Maternal and Child Health and our partners in the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) to learn of the tools and resources available to your hospital to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity. AIM joins together hospitals, state hospital associations, professional associations, and maternal and perinatal collaboratives to deliver Maternal Safety Bundles featuring evidence-based practices, training and technical support to prepare women’s health providers for common challenges. Each bundle consists of four domains – Readiness, Recognition, Response, and Reporting/Systems Learning.

Bonnie Connors Jellen, MHSA, director, AHA Section for Maternal and Child Health/Member Relations, will moderate a discussion with Barbara S. Levy, M.D., FACOG, FACS, vice president, Health Policy, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists; LaWanna Halstead, RN, MPH, vice president, Quality and Clinical Initiatives, Oklahoma Hospital Association; and Barbara O’Brien, MS, RN, director, Oklahoma Perinatal Quality Collaborative.
