Health care leaders looking for ways to build more innovative organizations, advance health equity and create a more resilient culture will find a wealth of learning opportunities at the July 21-23 in San Diego.

Among the Insight-Packed Sessions Are:

• “Accelerating Innovation Through Strategic Investing.” Leaders from Wellstar Health System, Henry Ford Health and Concord Health Partners will explore the role of strategic investment as part of hospitals’ investment and innovation portfolios, the opportunities and risks, and lessons from organizations embracing the approach.
• “Advancing Innovation Showcase @ The Innovation Hub.” The showcase will feature quick-fire presentations from six leading-edge companies to address health care’s most complex and pressing challenges. The companies represented are backed by the AHA as part of its initiative to invest in and support the development of innovations for the field.
• “Innovations in Leadership: Unveiling Success Stories from the Next Generation.” This story slam session will spotlight rising stars in health care leadership. Fellows from the AHA Next Generation Leaders Fellowship program will explain projects they have spearheaded to disrupt areas like affordability, cost, quality and safety.
